Nick Foles is returning to the city where he had his most success. The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms on a two-year contract with Foles on Monday, bringing him back to serve as the backup quarterback for Carson Wentz two years after former coach Chip Kelly traded him to St. Louis. The 28-year-old Foles was drafted in the third round in 2012 by Philadelphia under Andy Reid.

Shutdown Corner is counting down the top 50 prospects in the 2017 NFL draft with a scouting report, quotes from NFL evaluators and a projection where they might be drafted. Key stat: Williams collected 10.5 sacks in 2015 (in 197 snaps) and nine sacks in 2016 (in 428 snaps) on a loaded Bama defense. The skinny: Earning playing time on Nick Saban’s stacked unit — where former five-star recruit Da’Shawn Hand was stuck on the third team in 2015 and second team in 2016 — is difficult, and Williams had to prove he was more than just a one-trick pony as a pass rusher.
