JAY ARROWOOD FALLING WATERS, WV I understand locking Zack Martin up long-term is a necessity, but with the additional cap space with the post-June 1 cuts, can we expect the Cowboys to at least kick the tires on a free agent like Darrelle Revis or defensive line help with David Irving facing a suspension

UNC beat writer on why 'shifty' Ryan Switzer is about to make Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's day

I think he expected probably to go in that range of round but I don’t think he had necessarily extremely crazy high expectations since he was a guy everyone always doubted all throughout his life because of his size. When the call came I’m sure it was obviously emotional. He’s an emotional

LOOK: Jaylon Smith Instagram pic from team workouts sets #SquadGoals

When CowboysWire constructed a mini-big board for the Cowboys 2017 draft visits and workouts, a clear theme emerged. Even though Dallas has a huge need to stockpile talent on the defensive side of the ball, there were several positions not addressed. Along the defensive line, there were no one-techniques brought in as one of the official 30 pre-draft visits, nor any of the private workouts. The same held true for three-techniques, no one was there. There was a third position that went unaddressed. The team also had no interest in linebacker, further signaling they are completely on board with the idea Jaylon Smith, last year’s second-round pick, is going to be able to play an integral role at
