Defenses have been abusing Cam Newton all season, and NFL officiating teams have continued to keep the flags in their pockets. So when the flag came out after Trent Murphy’s blow to the Carolina QB’s skull after a third-down rush tonight against Washington, it was a short-lived sigh of relief for Panthers fans—because the flag ended up being on Newton himself.

WWE Wrestler/Former NFLer/Good Dad Brennan Williams Put A Lot Of Work Into His Daughter's Pokémon Birthday Party

Offensive tackle Brennan Williams was drafted in the third round out of UNC in 2013, and spent time in camp and on practice squads with the Texans, Jaguars, and Patriots. After his football career ended he began training under Booker T., and in August of this year signed a developmental deal with WWE. (His father is the first commenter under the story.) Williams been performing with NXT, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have time to put together one heck of a birthday party.

49ers in danger of setting franchise record for losses (Yahoo Sports)

About the only thing left to determine for the San Francisco 49ers will be if 2016 will go down as the worst season ever in franchise history. After losing their franchise-record 13th straight game on Sunday in Atlanta, the Niners (1-13) must win their final two games to avoid matching, or breaking, the team record for losses in a season. San Francisco can tie the single-season loss record reached in 1978, 1979 and 2004 by losing at the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday.
