Aaron Hernandez left behind three suicide notes before he took his life in a prison cell, according to a report. The former NFL star addressed notes to his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, and their 4-year-old daughter, Avielle, the Boston Herald reported. The letters were found next to a Bible opened to John 3:16, the same verse that Hernandez had scrawled on his forehead in marker.
