There is every reason, you would think, for Jed York to remain deep in the background, send atta-boys to John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan for their draft savvy, give everybody some time to forget the last two seasons, and more than anything, just avoid the name, likeness, reputation and concept of Jim Harbaugh. Make money. Watch Lynch and Shanahan reshape the 49ers. Accept the praise. Be quiet. It’s going well! And sure as heck don’t stir up all the old wounds by publicly inviting Harbaugh to dinner. Not that. Just don’t do that, Jed. That’s awkward. That’s over-bearing. That’s reminiscent of all the dumb, transparent stuff that used to drive Harbaugh crazy from 2011-2014. Don’t do it, Jed. Oops,
