After discussing Reuben Foster’s cloudy future this morning, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan talked about another inside linebacker’s sunny present. On KNBR, Shanahan said he “couldn’t be more excited” about All-Pro NaVorro Bowman, who was a full participant last week in the first offseason minicamp after he sustained a torn Achilles tendon on Oct. 2. “He does not look like a guy coming off an Achilles,” Shanahan said. “I thought it would take him some time. I did not think he’d be looking (like) himself until training camp.
