Purdue survives late surge from Illinois, top Illini, 31-24, to improve to 2-0

After sprinting out to a big lead, the Purdue Boilermakers were able to withstand a 14-0 fourth quarter run by the Illinois Fighting Illini to hold on, 31-24, and stay undefeated through two weeks of their season.
