Former Cardinals reporter Dick Kaegel wins Spink Award for baseball writing

Dick Kaegel, who covered the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals and edited The Sporting News, won the Hall of Fame’s J.G. Taylor Spink Award.
