Cameroon and Serbia faced off in the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Cameroon got the scoring started in the 29th minute when Jean-Charles Castelletto scored. This was Cameroon’s first goal of the tournament. Serbia would bounce back in a big way with back to back goals by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Strahinja Pavlovic in stoppage time of the first half. Serbia wasn’t done there, as Aleksandar Mitrovic added another goal in 53’. Cameroon would counter, by adding two back-to-back goals by Vincent Aboubakar and Maxim Choupo-Moting to bring the score to 3-3 which would be the final.
