Why did Patriots replace Jakobi Meyers with JuJu Smith-Schuster?

Why did the Patriots replace Jakobi Meyers, a perfectly good WR2, with another WR2? Maybe because Bill Belichick thinks JuJu Smith-Schuster can do more.
