It was a hot day at the Nashville Superspeedway that ended with 12 cautions and two restarts. The first caution came in the first lap, as the drivers were making it to turn one. Four drivers were not able to finish the race after taking heavy damage due to the wrecks they were in. Ty Gibbs happen to be one of those drivers. Before his early exit, he was able to grab the Stage 1 victory. It was his third stage victory of the season. Chandler Smith was also able to grind it out and secured himself the Stage 2 win. After multiple cautions late, the race went into overtime and A. J. Allmendinger grabbed his seventeenth career win at the Tennessee Lottery 250.
