Steelers continue to trim roster, release two more players

The Pittsburgh Steelers made two more roster cuts as they pair their roster down to 90 before the start of training camp. The team announced they have released long snapper Kameron Canaday and wide receiver Dez Stewart per their official Twitter account. Both of these moves go hand in hand with two of the team’s draft picks. The Steelers spent a second-round pick on wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and a sixth-round pick on long snapper Colin Holba. Yep, the Steelers drafted a long snapper. The release of White helps thin out the gullet of wide receivers on the roster.
