Michael Bennett Turned His Penalized Sack Dance Into A Christmas Sweater

Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett has been known to unleash an homage to Ravishing Rick Rude after recording a sack, and he hit the Rams with a particularly saucy one after sacking Jared Goff last Thursday. Bennett was penalized for the dance, but that didn’t stop him from commemorating it with a very dope Christmas sweater.

Police: Michael Floyd Was Drunk Enough For Mandatory Jail Time

Wide receiver Michael Floyd, who was waived by the Cardinals (and signed by the Patriots) after being arrested on suspicion of DUI on Dec. 12, has been charged with something called “Super Extreme DUI,” which is reserved for the drunkest of the drunk and carries automatic jail time.

A police report released Wednesday says Patriots wide receiver Michael Floyd had a blood-alcohol level of .217 when arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and other charges earlier this month in Scottsdale, Arizona. Arizona’s legal limit for alcohol is .08. Floyd played for the Arizona Cardinals at the time, but the team released him two days after his arrest.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson did not practice on Wednesday and his outlook for the game against Green Bay on Saturday is in question. Peterson played 12 snaps in his return from surgery on a torn meniscus in his right knee, but the Vikings lost to the Colts, 34-6. Before he returned against the Colts, Peterson said he would likely not play if the Vikings were eliminated from playoff contention.

Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey says the hip injury that ended his season isn’t career threatening, and he’ll be ready for the team’s offseason program. This year the Dolphins (9-5) are in the thick of the AFC wild-card race even though their three-time Pro Bowl center played in only five games. ”I probably came back too early,” Pouncey said.
