Denmark and Tunisia ran a slow first half to kick off the match, with stronger on-goal shots by Denmark despite a fairly even spread of possession. In the 55th minute, Denmark’s Rasmus Kristensen sent a well-placed through ball from the outside right, but Mikkel Damsgaard was caught offside and his goal was erased. Denmark had two scoring chances late in the match but came up short due to incredible saves by Tunisia Goalkeeper Aymen Dahmen. The teams would come out to a 0-0 draw.
