Yankees’ comeback falls short as Phillies get walk-off, 8-7 win in extras

The Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Yankees, 8-7, on Jean Segura’s walk-off infield single in the 10th inning. DJ LeMahieu hit a game-tying three-run shot in the top of the ninth, but it was not enough as New York fell in extra innings. Gary Sanchez and Rougned Odor also went deep for the Yankees. Bryce Harper drove in two runs for Philadelphia.

Ripple’s handler falls during Westminster Dog Show agility competition, still celebrates after completing run

For the first time since 2017, a handler fell during the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show agility competition. Ripple’s trainer, Daniel Haddy, fell trying to direct the Boston Terrier out of the tunnel section of the agility course. Despite the mistake, Ripple and Daniel finished the run and celebrated together afterward.
