AP Source: Contract talks heat up between Sabres, Eichel

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) A person with direct knowledge of discussions tells The Associated Press that the Buffalo Sabres are in ”serious” talks with Jack Eichel in a bid to sign their franchise player to a potential NH- maximum eight-year contract extension before the start of the season.
