After a solid pitching battle on both sides, it was the St. Louis Cardinals coming out on top, 2-1, Sunday afternoon behind Jack Flaherty who struck out 11 Pittsburgh Pirates. Joe Musgrove struck out 11 Cardinals as well for the Pirates in the loss.
