Dolphins' defense hope to be much better than in '19 opener

Josh Boyer is such a fan of football history that he can remember when the Miami Dolphins’ defense was good. One of those times was the early 1970s, when Bill Arnsparger was the defensive coordinator and Miami won back-to-back Super Bowl titles. Boyer, the Dolphins’ rookie defensive coordinator, has read the late Arnsparger’s instructional book and long admired his predecessor’s work nearly a half-century ago.
