CHICAGO (AP) — Nick Foles beat Tom Brady again, Cairo Santos kicked a 38-yard field with 1:17 left and the Chicago Bears beat Tampa Bay 20-19 on Thursday night after Brady seemingly lost count of downs on his final play.

Tom Brady apparently didn’t realize it was fourth down on his incompletion in the final minute that sealed the Bears’ win over the Buccaneers.

Sean McVay joked on a long-distance catchup with some familiar voices there were more Washington media members left than players or coaches from his time there. When McVay coaches the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday in his first visit to FedEx Field since leaving and taking them to the Super Bowl, Washington will have just five players in uniform and one assistant coach on the opposite sideline remaining from his tenure. The Bills-Titans game has been moved from Sunday to Tuesday night as long as Tennessee has no more positive tests for COVID-19 in the interim, a person with direct knowledge of the switch tells The Associated Press. The NFL also is rescheduling Sunday’s Broncos-Patriots game from Sunday to Monday night after New England had a smaller outbreak of COVID-19, the person said Thursday, speaking on condition of anonymity because the league and teams had not officially announced the changes. Three games now have been postponed due to the pandemic: Pittsburgh at Tennessee in Week 3 was moved to Oct. 25.

Both the Titans-Bill and Patriots-Broncos games are being moved due to COVID-19 issues, but that’s creating a ripple effect for next week as well.

After an investigation revealed Tennessee players broke COVID-19 protocols, league sources say the NFL will probably discipline the team.

Tennessee was told players could not gather together for any in-person activities either at the club’s facility or elsewhere a day before several Titans worked out at a private school, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press on Thursday. The NFL closed both the Tennessee and Minnesota facilities Sept. 29 after eight positive test results for the Titans. There wasn’t language in the CBA or COVID protocols related to working out after being told not to or in case of an outbreak at a team’s facility.
