Falcons CB Sheffield ruled out for Sunday's game vs Cowboys

The Atlanta Falcons will be without a key member of their cornerback rotation for the second week in a row after ruling Kendall Sheffield out of Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Sheffield is still recovering from a foot injury and wasn’t able to practice all week. Jeannette Belichick, the mother of New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, has died. Patriots spokesman Stacey James said Belichick died Monday night of natural causes in Annapolis, Maryland. In addition to their son, Bill, she is survived by three grandchildren: Holy Cross College women’s lacrosse coach Amanda Belichick and Patriots assistants Stephen Belichick and Brian Belichick.
