Terrelle Pryor is the only good thing about the 0-13 Browns, and he probably deserves better than getting mercilessly shit-talked by an asshole like Adam Jones. Pryor wasn’t around after last Sunday’s game to respond to Jones’s repeated declarations that Pryor is “garbage,” but he finally got around to it while talking to reporters yesterday.

The leading scorer in college basketball this season isn’t Lonzo Ball, Josh Jackson, or Ivan Rabb. He isn’t even 6-foot. Marcus Keene plays point guard for the Central Michigan Chippewas of the Mid-American Conference, and he has a legitimate chance to become the first 30-point-per-game scorer in college basketball in 20 years.

MLB ratified a new collective bargaining agreement today that, among other changes, banned rooking hazing, including the longstanding tradition of veteran ballplayers making rookies dress like women. Many other forms of hazing were banned—making people drink too much alcohol, coercing people to break the law, and bullying— but, as you can imagine, people really grabbed onto the whole no women’s outfits thing.

Chelsea had a rough September. After starting out their first EPL season under Antonio Conte with three up-and-down wins, they tied lowly Swansea, then lost two in a row to Liverpool and Arsenal. With both of those teams resurgent and Manchester City rounding into form under Pep Guardiola, it appeared that Chelsea’s goose was more or less cooked two months into the season. The Premier League is outlandishly competitive and coaches can get shitcanned over a bad two weeks without hesitation.

David Brailsford is the general manager and coach of Team Sky, the British giant that is currently as dominant as the Lance Armstrong-era USPS teams were a decade ago, and he’s got some explaining to do. Team Sky has taken four of the last five Tours de France, all while maintaining a militant anti-doping posture. However, leaked records from cycling’s governing body (the UCI) this summer showed that their two winners, Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome, each received a series of therapeutic use exemptions that allowed them (primarily Wiggins) to legally use drugs that are normally banned. The practice is not outright illegal, but it’s discordant with Sky’s anti-doping posturing, and it’s led to larger questions about the pharmacological legitimacy of Bradley Wiggins’s time with the team.

Take a second and think back to some of the highest artistic achievements you’ve seriously engaged with—The Brothers Karamazov, Mingus Ah Um, The General, whatever—and fix them in your mind, thinking about how they expanded your sense of human possibility. Now consider baseball Hall of Fame voter Steven Marcus’s ballot, which reveals that, confronted with a decision in which he was asked to pick up to 10 from among a list of 34 ballplayers up for election, with at least a dozen of them easy choices for the Hall and several more presenting very good cases—these are players ranging from Barry Bonds to Jeff Kent and including the likes of Roger Clemens, Manny Ramírez, and Tim Raines—our man decided that Vladimir Guerrero and Trevor Hoffman were the two worthy of baseball’s highest honor.
